Chronic Pain • Injury Rehabilitation • Post-Surgical Recovery • Stress Management
I’m a Clinical Massage Therapist based in Worthing, West Sussex, incorporating sports massage and remedial massage techniques within a clinical, assessment-led approach to treating pain, injury and dysfunction.
While sports massage is a key part of my work, my practice goes beyond symptom-based treatment. I specialise in chronic pain conditions, pre- and post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation and stress-related pain, supporting clients who need a more thorough, clinical and individualised approach than a spa or relaxation massage.
A Clinical, Assessment-Led Approach (Not Spa Massage)
My work is rooted in clinical assessment, not routine massage sequences. Each appointment begins with appropriate range of movement testing, postural and structural assessment, and discussion of your symptoms, history and goals.

This allows treatment to be targeted, effective and safe — particularly important for clients with persistent pain, complex presentations or a history of injury or surgery.

This approach is what distinguishes my work from spa-style massage and allows sports massage techniques to be used strategically, rather than generically.

Sports Massage as a Clinical Tool
Sports massage is often associated with athletes, but in practice it is one of the most effective tools for treating musculoskeletal pain, restricted movement and injury-related issues.
I use sports massage techniques to:
-
Reduce pain and muscular tension
-
Improve mobility and joint function
-
Support recovery from injury or surgery
-
Address postural and movement-related strain
-
Assist with long-term pain management
You don’t need to be sporty — sports massage is simply a results-focused method that works well for everyday bodies dealing with modern life, stress and physical load.
